Next to every persons table setting, a sweet little box with the most decadent truffle sat…by far Le Chocolate in Monsey beats any truffle out there!
I love using my drink dispensers! I take them with me for almost every event! It’s worth investing in a couple…plus you can always do lemon and lime slices in water and already it looks good!
Small fresh flower arrangements are easy and inexpensive. I used drinking glasses from Ikea and rustic looking flowers for a gentle look.
Using my pink and white and a touch of green color scheme, I served pink lemonade! It lifted the room to a whole new level! even the adults enjoyed it! This was the girls table set with sweet candy and flowers too.
I dont know about you but Sushi is always a winner! My favorite is Mango and Strawberry…try mixing these with scallions….I know, I know seems strange… but you’ll thank me later:)
Delicious wraps are perfect for hors d’oeuvres .
The whole look comes together no matter what! You can even keep to basic white table linens and focus on the other color content of your details.
A delicious salad can also add to the color palette. Here I used pink grapefruit and avocado to accent the lemonade and flowers.
Not every dessert needs a platter! I LOVE to arrange cupcakes right on the table linens! It gives the table a colorful and fun look!
It’s okay to be singled out sometimes…especially for being so sweet!
A little twine around a napkin with a spray rose, added just before the event begins, creates a stunning touch…and a tad bit more stress:)….well worth it though!
Little Lekach cakes baked in Mason Jars. This was a Bas Mitzvah 1 week before Rosh Hashanah so it fit with the time. Choose a ‘favor’ to give out that connects to a theme or time of year.
A simple elegant tag goes a long way! I ordered a few labels from http://www.myownlabels.com and then stuck it to card stock and glued a fabric lace ribbon on the bottom…it’s all in the details! This glass dome housed a little lemon cake on the buffet table for one lucky guest!
I love baking and I love designing dessert buffet tables! A combination of platters of all different heights and colors makes eating dessert a long lasting, sweet and creative experience!
