As I emerge from the newborn baby fog, I know find myself emerging from post Bas Mitzvah fatigue!
So please bear with me as I move forward, albeit slowly, and share some of the fun ideas we put together for our recent simcha that took place 2 weeks ago!
Pictured here are photos of one of the favors we gave out!
Made to look like little packages, these cute boxes, held some salt water taffies, a compass and a tefillas Haderech card for traveling. It was the perfect gift before the summer began and something that the people in our community would not only use and enjoy but it would serve as a meaningful token of appreciation for their ability to celebrate with us!
This is a fun idea for a craft for camp, or an end of summer give away!
The top of the box was decorated with a real stamp made from a photo of our daughter, divine twine in our theme colors, and a stamp that we found at a craft store, which we stamped into white chalk ink and then onto the craft box.
The background of the inside of the box was a square of a map placed on top of the foam insert that each box came with. This gave the items a nice backdrop and of course it connected to the gift.
(The stamp on top of the box said: “Wishing You a Healthy & Happy Summer”.)
The note brought it all together!
