Welcoming Guests.

Welcome gift baskets which I made and yes, shlepped from sunny California to freezing Toronto (ok…it was freezing for me!)

These were for my mothers wedding, for out of town guests.

I think it is so nice to set things up for guests to make them feel at home and welcome!

These baskets were too cute to resist using! I found them on saveonecrafts.com and love the fact that you can use them open or with the sweet lid that gently slips over the handle, keeping everything neat and almost ‘picnic’ looking.

I packed nut bars, chocolate granola bars, chips, popcorn and a beautiful tin of tea from my favorite tea company Harney and Sons. I specifically ordered the ‘English Breakfast’ tea tins, because the guests were from England, as well as the Chosson! (groom).

I added a little touch of pampering by stamping a cotton drawstring bag, found in local craft store (these can be found at paper source too or online). It said “PAMPER” and included a favorite product of mine, cucumber facial wipes.

I always keep these in the car and in our home for a refreshing face wash, even for kids!

This is a great basket to have on hand for a guest room in your home/chabad. Keeping it stocked and ready with some soaps, shower gel and other amenities in always a nice touch to welcoming a guest.

Thank you to our dear baal habatim Ido and Ronit Leffler who are the founders of Yes To Carrots and who kindly donated them to our simcha!

May we always welcome guests with warmth and sweet little welcome packages.
